Pattern Support

We take pride in our original patterns and endeavor to provide you with instructions free from flaws. All patterns are provided in PDF format. Should you have difficulty understanding a pattern, need clarification or if you find any mistakes within a pattern please contact us at picklesnotdesign [at] gmail [dot] com for assistance and to allow us to make corrections as needed.

Sizing Support

Not sure what size gloves or hat you wear? Here’s a handy guide to understanding the method that Picklesnot Design uses.

Gloves:

It’s always a good idea to know what size glove you wear. Picklesnot Design always indicates glove size with numbers. When measuring for glove size we recommend measuring your dominant hand. With a measuring tape measure, in inches, around the widest part of your palm. Then measure from the tip of your middle finger to base of your wrist. The larger of the two numbers indicates the glove size. The number of inches measured equals the size of the glove (example: A 7″ measurement equals a size 7 glove). What does the term ‘button’ mean in the glove descriptions?  The term button refers to how far past the wrist the glove reaches. 1 button = 1 inch.

HATS:

Just like our glove sizes, Picklesnot Design lists hat sizes with numbers. To arrive at your correct head size, measure the circumference of your head in inches. This should be measured at the point which the hat sits on your head. Between 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch above your ears. The number of inches measured equals the size of the hat (example: A 21″ measurement equals a size 21 hat). If you find that your measurement is in between it is recommend to round up.

Refunds and Exchange Support

Patterns:

Refunds and exchanges are not practical with downloaded patterns. If there are corrections made to a pattern after purchase we will send an updated version as soon as it is available.

Everything Else:

Because custom orders are made to specification and everything is verified before construction begins, we do not offer refunds or exchanges.

All sales from the Prêt-à-Porter Catalogue/Etsy Store are final. Please make certain that you read the in depth descriptions before purchasing.

Can I order something from the catalogue in a different size, color, or yarn? Of course! Picklesnot Design can customize anything in the Prêt-à-Porter Catalogue/Etsy Store should you require it. For customized orders please email us directly at picklesnotdesign [at] gmail [dot] com to begin the process.

Why is there a price difference between items of the same type? Most likely the items are made of different materials. Picklesnot Design currently determines prices based on a simple formula. This formula is: how long it takes to make + cost of materials.  While the first part of the formula is set at a static rate the second part fluxuates.

How soon after I place my order will it be shipped? If you have ordered items from the Prêt-à-Porter Catalogue/Etsy Store your items will be shipped within 72 hours of payment confirmation. When you place a custom order with Picklesnot Design we will give an estimated ship time based on how long it will take to make. Most custom orders ship within 2-3 weeks. Patterns purchased from Picklesnot Design will be emailed within 24 hours of purchase.

How will my order be shipped? Picklesnot Design ships everything USPS Priority mail unless otherwise discussed.

Where do you ship to? Currently Picklesnot Design has shipping rates set for anywhere in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, France, New Zealand, and Australia.

What form of payments do you accept? Paypal is our preferred method of payment. We also accept all major credit cards through paypal as well. (You do not need a paypal account to pay via cc)

I am allergic to certain animals. Do you work in an animal free invironment? The Picklesnot Design Studio is a pet friendly space. (1 cat) But the yarn is stored in such a way that Henry can not access it.
